This seems correct, (Can't seem to find out if you've done it or not, but i'm assuming) You’ve identified the main steps in the nitrogen cycle and the role of each process: Atmospheric nitrogen needs to be converted to usable forms for plants and animals. Nitrogen fixation happens through both abiotic (lightning) and biological (bacteria) processes. Ammonification and nitrification convert nitrogen from organic matter and ammonia into nitrate, which plants can absorb. Denitrification returns nitrogen back to the atmosphere. The Haber-Bosch Process adds additional nitrogen to soils through artificial fertilizers.
