I'd suggest looking up reviews and more information on the books so that you have a better idea of the reading material, and from there you could see what appeals more to you

I'll give you the plot -
Fahrenheit 451 -
Fahrenheit 451 tells the story of Guy Montag and his transformation from a book-burning fireman to a book-reading rebel. Montag lives in an oppressive society that attempts to eliminate all sources of complexity, contradiction, and confusion to ensure uncomplicated happiness for all its citizens.
Slaughterhouse 5-
The protagonist deals with a temporal crisis as a result of his post-war psychological trauma. The text centers on Billy's capture by the German Army and his survival of the Allied firebombing of Dresden as a prisoner of war, an experience that Vonnegut endured as an American serviceman.
The October country
A supernatural family attempts to live in the mortal world while maintaining their nocturnal habits, mostly successfully apart from Einar the Winged Man who ends up grounded in Illinois when his night time navigation powers fail him.
