nice

luhsky25:

I got cheated on like 12 time

xotrillogy:

I feel that music can contribute to mental health because for obvious reasons happy music makes you happy and sad music makes you sad so obviously there's a link to mood, and music but what if a sad person always listeed to sad music but always asks for help but doesn't start at the small things. like the type of music they listen to. I listen to Lil Peep and all though his music can help me get through some stuff it def puts me in a low mood

The music you listen to can impact your mood. Not just for now, for an hour, or a day, but long-term. Music can make you more depressed or anxious, or it can help alleviate some of your depression or anxiety.

https://www.psychiatry.org/news-room/apa-blogs/power-of-music-in-mental-well-being Here's a study I found, you should read it as well, it's a short and interesting read In summary, it has a number of positive effects on mental health including good influences on socio-emotional development, promoting mental well-being and cultural understanding. Basically, it can be used as a therapeutic tool in a sense, which has been shown to help with healing from trauma and reducing stress. As a social agent, it definitely connects people together and a lot of artists nowadays are normalizing mental health issues through their music (sharing about struggles and abuse, etc.)

NorthLegacyKing:

yes it can 100%

ARWolf1:

yes, I knew some missionaries who would go after kids who ran away and they reported that most of the kids that they were too late for had one thing in common:; they listened to juice world

Sleepyman:

I mean yes and no but mainly yes bc the type of music u listen to can dictate your mood

Keyla:

I feel like it does since like your brain takes in the different lyrics so if they're sad and u already feel sad , it definitely going to make ur mood worse or not improve it at all
