In the quiet night I sit alone Memories whisper like a soft sad tone. Your laughter lingers a ghost in my mind In every shadow your love I still find. We walked together hand in hand Dreams like castles built on sand. Now the tides have washed them away Leaving me lost in shades of gray. I hold your picture worn and frayed Each smile a promise that slowly fades. Though time moves on my heart stays still In the silence of love I ache and I will.
