How I desperately miss our arguments over dumb things and bickering
I tell myself I’m okay, but deep down I have a wound I will never recover from
Our time together was cut to short
The day I found out you were gone was the day I lost all hope in humanity
I took our times for granted, never realizing that there’d be a last time
Now as your hugging me tight, once again, I feel your warm breath

In my dream you spoke your final words to me
They were, “Goodbye my Sky. I love you forever and always.”
It’s in that moment I can’t stop the tears falling from my eyes
Then you fade away too soon like a vapor in the morning sky
That’s when I realize that you’re finally home
Up in the sky like the angel I knew you always were
It’s been a month since you’ve been gone, a month since I last truly smiled or laughed
It breaks my heart to know that I’ll never see you again
I guess God had other plans
Until we reunite again, I miss you and I will never ever forget you
