In the land beyond our feet,
Where the gray fabrics flow,
He watches from the shadows,
Why? No one knows!

Amorphous. His form is soft like dough.
He changes it at will.
Sometimes, a man in a ferry, well built,
Or maybe he who removes spirits from their vessels, killed.

But those who regard him as The Devil wishing ill,
Those not ready to accept,
They say they never get to meet death
They never get to ascend.

For these spirits a prayer he sends.
He wishes that they could meet,
As he doesn’t want them to fear him or retreat,
For Death's purpose is to make the Circle of Life complete.
