The moonlight bathes the night, Casting dreams in soft white, Whispers dance on the breeze, Carrying secrets with ease. Shadows stretch, the world sleeps, While the heart softly weeps, Lost in thoughts of the past, Moments fade, too quick, too fast. Stars above, they softly glow, Guiding paths we do not know, In their light, hope takes flight, Chasing darkness with its might. So let the moonlight shine bright, Bringing peace to the night.
