The weight of silence suffocates, A mind too loud to find escape. Smiles are masks, deceiving smiles, Hiding tears that stretch for miles. People speak, but none can see, The storm inside, the part of me. Their voices drown, they can't know why— I wear this mask, I never cry. I hate the noise, the endless sound, Of all these hearts, so lost, unbound. I’m drowning in their hollow cheer, While darkness whispers, drawing near. So leave me be, don’t ask to stay, I’d rather fight my thoughts today. In solitude, I’ll find my peace, Where all the noise just fades and cease.
