Resulting in USA, france, britian, and japan to all come to an agreement that the pacific was not going to be a fighting ground. Japan agreed that as long as we agreed to not fight on their soil then our coast lines would be safe essentially. Basically the treaty made it so we have to ask each other for permission to attack someone. This was during world war 1, in 1921
