Girl meets boy. "Temporary," she thought. No one is worth the risk of commitment. She loses interest too quickly, always turned off by the smallest things. She doesn’t like anyone. She feels like she should be all alone- no one with her, not even her own family. "That gym boy," she thought. He stole her innocence with the press of his fingers, leaving an ache she couldn’t name. She never told a soul what happened to her- embarrassment tangled with betrayal. She couldn’t escape the memory of those fingers- fingers that made her bleed, fingers that stole her innocence. She felt broken, used, her body no longer her own. She reminisces about the time she felt violated, the time when she whimpered and cried as he thrust his fingers hard inside of her. She told him to stop, but he only said, "It's okay, it will feel good." "Do boys not know the meaning of the word "no," Or do they pretend like they don't?" Oh, the grueling memories- unyielding, unforgettable, no matter how much she tries to sleep. But even when she does sleep, she dreams about it. Oh, the innocence that's been brutally taken from her, she was in shock he didn't do more to her. After that day of torture, she became numb, soulless. Now, every time she meets a boy, her mind drifts back to the memories- dark, haunting, impossible to escape.
