Twaylor:

what is 1/0? pos infinity or neg infinity?

Glorious:

Dividing by zero, including 1/0, is considered undefined in mathematics. It doesn't result in a finite number, positive infinity, or negative infinity.

ye you right

Spectrum:

Except for 0, you cannot divide 0 by 0.

mxddi3:

It would depend on if you are simply just dividing or if this is a question relating to limits. Basic dividing: the answer itself would be undefined as mentioned above. Limits: If you are approaching 1/0 from the positive side, you'd get + infinity, and if you approach from the negative side, it would be neg. infinity.
