KyleeR:

if you hold a piece of paper up to a mirror and put a spoon behind the paper, The mirror still shows the spoon even though it cant see it, How is that possible?

kingvox:

some light rays from the spoon can still bounce off the edges of the paper and reach the mirror

Gdub08:

The spoon is curved, so light bounces off

KyleeR:

so what if I put something not curved behind the paper?

Gdub08:

he beat me to it. I remember my science teacher teaching us this. I hadda think about it

it doesn't work

kingvox:

actually to my knowledge light travels in all directions so i dont think it matters, the angle of the object just changes the angle of the reflection

KyleeR:

that's my question is like how does the mirror know its there.

kingvox:

i got no clue

KyleeR:

SnowyBreaks:

Since paper is thin. You can see things through it.ittin a piece of paper or anything behind it it will reflect and show its shape or wtv in the mirror
