(Step Family) In the quiet corners of a house not quite home, Laughter echoes, but it feels like a distant poem. Hearts stitched together with threads of uneasy hope, Yet shadows linger where once was a common scope. Soft smiles hide the weight of unspoken strife, Each member a puzzle piece, struggling to fit in life. An empty chair at dinner, a name lost in the crowd, In a tapestry of longing, the silence speaks loud. Amidst the blended laughter, some ambitions collide, A family formed of strangers, where love must abide.
