Moths (a poem)

Like a moth drawn to a flame,
Im dangerously attracted to you.
Although I should I feel no shame,
And just like the moth I flew.

I know what could happen, come so close to death,
But im willing as long as you'll share my final breath.
I will draw closer and closer,
Burning my wings,
A thrill I know ill never get over,
Your greater than any king.

Ill never recover, should we split,
But your not mine, not yet.
I will be called a hypocrite,
But im willing to make that bet.
