If you look at a food web and then a food chain you will notice a food chain only has a few organisms in it and looks like a pyramid, displaying what eats what. While a web has several organisms and multiple interactions between them all.
In basic terms, a food web is a more complex and advanced food chain.
1) producer 2)A food chain is a simple, linear sequence showing how energy flows from one organism to another in a single path, while a food web is a complex network of interconnected food chains
for #3, is the energy level goin up ?
Wait is this English?
Actually, the energy level goes down. The organism that eats the one below it only gets 10% from the organism eaten. 90% of it is burnt off as heat energy. c:
Hope this helps! Enjoy your Friday. \(\color{hotpink}{\heartsuit}\)

I'm in this unit right now! 1βIt starts with a producer, as in grass, etc. 2- A food web is more orderly than a web. When you think of a spider web, it goes in many ways. The arrow from an organism is where the energy goes. Not who eats who. That's the thing that people get confused about. A food web is much more complicated. An animal can have 5 arrows pointing to it cause it's a web. 3- As you move up the energy gets less. There is a rule called the 10% rule. If a cow is as the bottom level and get's it's energy from grass and has 2000 energy then a lion eats it, it only gets 10% of energy from the cow. So the higher the animal level is the more food the predator needs to eat.
