quick question: why are most of the posts in the "open posts" unreplyable and old while most of the posts in the "closed posts" are more recent and reply-able (if thats even a term) im assuming this goes into this section???

The current open posts are either unanswered questions that are recent enough to be kept up, or older ones that we haven't gotten to close just yet lol
They date back to 7 years ago, so we've been working on that for a while. 
The ones you can't reply to are most likely tutorial/mod posts that give information on certain rules or updates.

The closed questions are ones that have already been answered / given feedback to.
