(not homework related) Hi I'm currently trying to request a book from my local library but its asking me "Why are you requesting this item?" and I have no clue what to put. The only reason I'm requesting it is cause I cant afford it and want to read it. Does anyone have any suggestions what I could put for the answer so it has a higher chance at being bought?
It's great that you're using the library to access books! When you're filling out the reason for requesting the book, it's helpful to frame it in a way that highlights your genuine interest while also showing the library that there is demand for the book. You could consider something like: "I would like to request this book as I am very interested in reading it, but it is beyond my financial means. Access to it through the library would allow me to enjoy the content without the financial burden, and I believe other community members might also benefit from its availability."This approach conveys your genuine interest in the book while subtly pointing out that it's not just for you, but could serve others in the community as well.
@eiwoh2 could you please reopen the question since I suspect that the person who answered used ai? if you can't can I repost it.
