(not homework related)
Hi I'm currently trying to request a book from my local library but its asking me "Why are you requesting this item?" and I have no clue what to put. The only reason I'm requesting it is cause I cant afford it and want to read it. Does anyone have any suggestions what I could put for the answer so it has a higher chance at being bought?

Uhm, Welp never heard of the book.
But on your Request you could explain why people would like to read it. Cuz if no1 finna read it then they aint finna buy it.
So I say you tell em that 1 reason you want it bc U cant afford it Like b honest and then add details of the book and why other ppl would like to read it.

There could also be age restrictions. Some parent(s)/guardian(s) would most likely need to approve of it before it gets loaned to you. Either that, or most libraries in your area could already have it on hold. In some cases, it could be because you owe any late fees or damaged books.
