okay another random question that even google itself isnt helping me with: why cant i zoom in and out anymore with the touchpad? yk how when you pinch your fingers together on the touchpad, an image can zoom out, and vice versa? yeah i did everything google told me and nothings working. this is so annoying, and the ctrl + and - are only zooming the entire page, not the exact area i want zooming in on. how do i fix that?

Jaynater:

This could be a driver issue with your touchpad or with the touchpad itself. What Operating System do you use? (Ex: MacOS, Linux, Windows)

chromebook (those school ones lol)

Jaynater:

It could be that gestures have been disabled in settings. Try using the magnifying glass option and typing "trackpad" and looking at the options for gestures. Should be there with reverse scrolling and other options.

Yosad930:

yeah i see all that.. what next?

Jaynater:

I just got out my Chromebook. It's been years since I used it I see it's not in that settings menu. Try cleaning your trackpad really good with some alcohol pads or putting isoropyl alcohol on a towel, napkin, or paper towel of some sort and scrubbing the trackpad really good. Make sure your Chromebook is off while you scrub.

Jaynater:

They just get dirty with use fr
