Are we allowed to ask questions about video games like if anyone plays a certain game and if they know hoow to do something?

But people post stuff in art all the time saying "rate my art", so spam rules can kind of be a toss up.

Maybe try asking a genuine question like, "If I'm playing minecraft, how do I build an iron farm?"

I'd assume that would be fine.

Posting greetings/polls in miscellaneous or any other subject in the post section is considered spam. Only use the post section if you have an academic related question you need help with (ex. Math functions, art you want critique on, English you need proof reading of.) if you want to ask people about their favorite game or talk about a game please use the global chat (all subjects) on the bottom right corner of your screen.

“Rate my art” posts aren’t always considered spam as they’re being used as a means to get feedback and to be able to improve, as long as a piece of art is posted for the purpose to get feedback on I believe that follows the spam rules that are posted.

For global chat no you don’t need to ask questions. Global chat is there for users to communicate and have fun much like DMs (little envelope icon top left corner). If you’d like more information about the site and what features it may include you can dm me and I might be able to answer.

Not quite sure what you mean by “PC” (private chat?) but yeah it’s kind of like that. Global chat is there for the general community to be able to use and interact with everyone using the chat where a DM is there for you to be able to privately message a specific person.
