I have a presentation to do In Front of like 50 people does anyone have any tips on how to not be nervous?
Just pretend that they aren't there. Like if you were practicing to present to an empty room. If you pretend not to be nervous then you will end up not nervous. But its also ok because everyone gets nervous for things like this. Good luck!!!
just practice over and over again so that when u do become nervous and forget everything, u can say some random thing u did remember from the back of ur mind. also, if u have a good friend in the audience or smthing, just stare at them (dont let them make u laugh tho!) or basically any nice person would do. i'd just pretend that im talking to them, and dont gotta maintain eye contact the whole time cuz that'd be kinda weird but then dont stare at a wall or a point on the back the whole time cuz thats also weird. act casual, like ur on a ted talk or smthing
idk, just drink some water, go over it in your head. also understand that anybody else who has to do it is equally nervous and your not alone. tell yourself that its not a big deal, because it isn't. your anxiiety is making it worse than it actually is. Hope that helped!
I would say pretend like they are all in their underwear... but the thing with that is you might laugh... SO pretend that everybody is ugly and you don't want to look at them. Actually though, just think your the biggest person there. It kinda helps
Stare at the wall instead of the people, drink water, try not to imagine yourself standing there, and either act like the people aren’t there or barely acknowledge them.
