Thought about this poem how do you guys like it

TRAPPED

Depression is like a dark cloud even on a sunny day
Depression is a quicksand that won't let you get away
Depression is like being trapped in a room with no lights

It's like being unarmed in a gunfight
Or being stuck in a blackhole
That you can't escape

Depression is crying out for help but the words never come out
Depression is suffocating, yearning for fresh air
But it's hard to fight for
because the longer you stay there it's harder to get out

Depression is like a hole slowly filling with water
The longer your in the hole
Year after year
Day after day
The hole will slowly fill up like anger rising in your body
But after it reaches the top
Everything overflows all the time
Every time

damn dude, this is rlly good, u shud continue making poems. This like hits in a different way and really portrays how depression is in such a raw and honest way. Depression is a heavy thing. I love da several metaphors used in this to describe what depression is or feels like. I feel the struggle in every line. You definitely have a gift for expressing deep emotions.

You describe how depression feels really well, my favorite part is how you explain it as a hole that is constantly filling up.
