Lately, I've been having a really hard time sleeping, and I don't know how to stop it because I have a lot of stress, racing thoughts, etc. I just wanted to know what are some tips that could maybe help me sleep better?

MaxTon:

You should go see a doctor and get a proper assessment from a professional who know's how to help you. From there you can be perprescribed the best source treatment. If your really struggling with sleep you may have a sleep disorder. Sleep disorders are conditions that affect the quality, duration, or timing of sleep, leading to daytime fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and other health problems. There are over 100 known sleeping disorders but some of the more known ones are Inosmnia, Sleepy Apnea, Narcolepsy, Restless legs Syndrome, Parasomnais, Shift Work Sleep Disorder etc. You can also do your own research but I'm not a medical professional go see a doctor you will get help.

And it's not a good idea to ask people online how to deal with YOUR mental health. This is your mental health were talking about, so you should go seek professional help, as they are the only ones who can truly help you, and who will truly understand you. I hope you feel better, and I hope you get the help you need. Good luck.

"I have a lot of stress, racing thoughts, etc." Those are signs of mental stress.

Calm your mind, listen to something that'll calm you down. Try taking a few deep breaths. Go for a walk maybe, sometimes reading, drawing or even talking to a trusted adult about your issues helps. Take some time off of things and it'll soothe the mind
