gelphielvr:

What are the political differences of A Republican, A right winger, a Democrat, a liberal, and a leftist?

Twaylor:

Ones psychopathic, the other looks out for minorities.

MaxTon:

Republicans are members of the Republican Party. Conservative: small government, low taxes, traditional values. Right-winger is the general term for someone with conservative views. They can be Republican or further right (e.g., nationalist, libertarian). Democrat, members of the Democratic Party. moderate to progressive: supports social programs, civil rights. Liberal, believes in individual rights and social progress. Usually center-left, supports reform but not radical change. Leftist, Further left than liberals. Anti-capitalist or socialist, wants major systemic change.

anyone on the red side is psychopathic and has less empathy for minorities [/quote/] should democrats and liberals also be apart of the list? since they support of a capitalist society

liberals are capitalists - that's what mainly differentiates them with leftists

You are talking purely from a self/experience/what you see online/narrow minded perspective, not from an objective point of view. Republicans and Democrats are purely party affiliations. Conservative lean more toward tradition (may or may not be bad) and less government control. And other stuff. Liberals lean more toward social progression (progression, not progress. progress implies good, cannot say whether the progression is good or not immediately, sometimes ever) and government intervention to reduce inequality. And other stuff. Leftists are just more radical liberals. Same way rightists (if that term even exists) just means more racial conservatives. No side can be objectively said to be 'more right' than the other. That's just your own opinion. In social media, we always tend to see the more extreme people of both sides, which doesn't really help. The majority of people generally lean one way but also agree with certain things on the other side. Additionally, most issues have certain cases and there is never really a one size fits all that solves all the problems. Technically, there is not necessarily a 'correct' answer for a lot of these issues. They're politics, not truths. Some things are true, but people argue differently. But that's different than just arguing about something you can't prove to be true.
