TwilighttZone:

Some people enter your life as a blessing. Others… as a lesson. But what if God is the one gently closing the door on your relationship? What if the tension, the distance, the unease—it’s not just coincidence… but divine intervention?

Twaylor:

shower thoughts eh?

MaxTon:

What if there wasn't a religious outlook on relationships, I don't think the any god plays any role in my love life

TwilighttZone:

God will always play a role in my life. He's the reason you meet certain people and he's the reason certain people leave your life. He gives you a lesson.

MaxTon:

I don't think so, I don't share the same beliefs, as far religion goes idek if I believe in God! But what I do know is I'm the one putting in the work to meet people and have a relationship.

Or the reason many communist cults have existed.

Twaylor:

Or the reason hate spreads like wildfire, or the reason gay children get abused, etc, etc.

It doesn't really matter whether he actually exists or not. You can believe what you want. There's no need to argue with the other person, as it, most of the time, doesn't change anything. I watched a comedy bit where Jimmy Carr said that God is like the future. You give up certain things now, do certain things now, so you can have a better life later. From a practical standpoint, believing in God has other uses. Think of this: you really want a cookie from the cookie jar, but you know you shouldn't. You probably can control yourself, you sort of want to control yourself, but you're not sure if you can. But if you knew your parents were watching, then you definitely could right? Now of course, people doing inhuman things 'in the name of God(s)' are just bad people in my opinion. As someone who leans towards nonbelieving, I don't mind if someone else does. I personally feel that the Bible definitely has many teachings that are worth reading and learning from. But I don't think everything is correct. Whether it's from misinterpretation, or standards of the past, I think that if God is all-powerful and all-good, he would probably say that the Bible is not exactly accurate. Then again, the way you were raised and your own thinking and your own experiences shape the way you perceive what is right and wrong. Now, this questions doesn't really feel like a question, is just seems like you're making a philosophical bit. If a relationship is not working out, it's not working out. Again, the way you perceive right and wrong is unique to you, and if someone else is doing things that makes you uneasy, then that's that.
