what are some smart ways to begin a story? I love writing but literally cant figure out how to begin storys

Start with a descriptive sentence of the setting (place, time, etc.), and lean into an introduction of the characters.

Well you can start with action, start with a question, start with a strange or powerful image, start with dialogue, or even start at the moment everything changes.
