The clock keeps breathing, but not for me. I move through shadows where no one sees. Laughter drifts past, but it never stays, just echoes that taunt my hollow days. The mirror shows a stranger’s face, tired eyes, an empty space. And though I scream, the world won’t hear, I drown in silence, year by year.
