aah yes so it just wants to find out the area and perimeter
randogirl123:
and its operating with polynomials
randogirl123:
like ik how to do it but just confused
gelphielvr:
do you need the answer fast? i might be able to do it but it'll take a few minutes or so

Did you try adding them together, and then factoring?

huh
Lui0210:
Actually you're right, there is no given perimeter value. So you just need to add them all together and that's the perimeter.
2(2x^2-5)+ 2(12x+1)
randogirl123:
and then you multiply thos equations to get the area?

pretty sure if I calculated correctly the answer should be 4x²+24x-8?
jhonyy9:
there is a rectangle with one sidelength 2x^2 -5 and the otherone 12x+1
yes ?
from 2x^2 -5 => x>1 so for x=2 result 2*2^2 -5=3 and 12*2+1=25
- in this case the rectangle has side length equal 25 and width equal 3
using these values you can calcule now easy the perimeter and area of this rectangle
