I think people should wear whatever they want. I don't really get why people get so mad at guys wearing girls clothing when they don't get mad at girls wearing guy clothing. I agree with the "clothes have no gender" thing. We should all express ourselves freely.

thereneelg, that's exactly, my opinion in this. as a non-binary dude my mom always gets mad at me when I show her pictures of feminine clothes, I wish I had a way to  prove to her that clothing don't have genders.

Honestly people should be able to wear whatever they want, the main reason why society tends to classify certain clothes as "men's" or "women's" is mainly due to historical (as well as cultural) factors, its pretty interesting in my opinion. I personally think that people are so against men wearing things like skirts or dresses and women wearing masculine clothing mainly because doing so breaks a societal norm that so many people are comfortable with. Some types of people are against things that don't fit their narrative, its just how humans are I believe. 🤷

Have you told her that your non-binary?? Maybe thats the problem, or maybe she doesnt understand what that means?? And i think thats so cool!! I havent met a ton of nonbinary people!!
