(IMPORTANT) What does sudden sharp pain in your ear, upper throat, neck, and even back of the head on one side after swallowing mean?

Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia (GPN) or other referred pain conditions, so you should see a doctor for a diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Other causes might include infections, TMJ disorders, nerve irritation like occipital neuralgia, or even dental issues. Because a proper diagnosis is necessary, please consult a healthcare professional to determine the cause of your pain. this happened to me n i got diagnosed but its better now, better safe than sorry tho
