Tips on time management? So far I've been working on it, but I wanna see if there's anything else that I can do in order to overall give myself the benefit of more time to do things. I feel as if I've accidentally managed to drown myself in my own assignments.
there is like a ten min rule that being you spent ten mins on each one then take a five min break let it be something as to litterly watching outside for awhile.. then you sort which is due first to focus on it the most and depending how much work is in one assignment focus on the longer ones so you won't feel too pressured if behind and if it' feels too much take another break. really just what I do but another thing is sticking for a certain section for an hour ex: English or Math focus on that subject (depending on how much and when due date) with the whole ten min rule then take an equal amount of rest of course you can expierment here and there but I think that's a rlly good system to focus your brain. EXTRA AREA: I have seen this video where instead of doing it right after coming home sense it's not rlly good for the brain sense you spent 8 hrs at school (or job etc) is to not actually do it till 3 or 4am sense no one is awake (if in shared home) and it's quiet without distraction plus sense you woke up early and fresh you can start fresh on such projects. I hope this helps!!! > <
Honestly i appreciate it, I’ll see if it works out for me :,) Thank you! Can’t express how much I appreciate this <3
A few ways I can think of are try to stick to a schedule and set reminders. Not everybody does well with sticking to a schedule so little reminders every couple of hours can really help. Theres a bunch of apps you can use to help with time management and planning but I usually just put whatever I need to do into my calendar as a list for the day and try to get as much done as possible. I try to get all the essential stuff done first that way if I decide I dont want to finish a task I can add it to my calendar for the next day. If that doesnt work just do all the difficult tasks first that when when youre finishing up its a breeze. Also always remember to take breaks so you dont burn yourself out. :)
I would advise you to plan your own deadlines on large assignments before the actual deadline as this will help you create a shcedule that fits for you. Prioritize your task, what I mean by this is sorting out important ones, urgent ones, and non-important ones. Try your best to avoid multitasking because it might make burn out even worse. And simply just be realistic, coming to conclusion that you can't do everything all at once, you have to take it easy. Remind yourself that every good thing you do will never ever be enough and your worth is more than how successful you are in studies.
Take some time for yourself
Dont let anybody tell you otherwise
What I can say is prioritize what will take more time, and don't bite off more than you can chew, sometimes turning things in late is better than overloading yourself with work endlessly. But still, work on what's more difficult and time consuming first before moving to the small things, and DONT FORGET TO TAKE A BREAK. but also I would set alarms to remind me to do certain things, and always remember to be prepared. try not to procrastinate too much because that can lead to irresponsible time consumption
