What's the difference between ethnicity and race?

(I GENUINELY do NOT understand the difference.)

ethnicity is about your culture like where your family comes from, the language you speak, or traditions you follow. race is more about physical features, like skin color. So pretty much ethnicity = culture and race = looks.
