but lost in the end you smiled at me and held my hand and I felt like I was in a wonderland
but then i woke up and you were gone leaving me feeling so alone.
the memory of your touch still lingers, and i wish you were here with me, my fingers.
i know that you are gone forever, but i cant help but feel so clever to have loved someone like you
who made my heart feel brand new so ill cherish the memories we shared
and the love we once declared and i’ll keep you close in my heart until we meet again never to part
