How do I write a "professional" email to my teacher without using dear? I always write "Dear Mrs. so and so" But I don't think that will work with the teacher I'm writing so does anyone know any alternatives?

xXAikoXx:

Example: [Input Subject] Hello Ms./Mr./Mrs. [Teacher name], [Introduce yourself with your **full name** (Usually first and last) if it's the first time emailing this teacher or required] [input message] Sincerely/Thank you, [Your name, class period] [Signature if optional in the emailing service or mandatory]

Also, I strictly advise you to avoid using slang. Instead, maintain a respectful and firm tone.

Okay thanks! I wasn't entirely sure if a simple "hello" would be too informal '-'
