FRENCH HORNS: how to improve? I play French horn and I can't memorize scales for the life of me. help.?

what you should do to memorize scales is play one note then don't look at your music then play that note and keep adding on notes so then you would play 2 notes then play 2 notes without looking and so on and so fourth it worked for me and I play trombone

Best I can say is play the song over and over with the songbook until it's ingrained in your head. That usually works for me when I play piano
