i have to smile,
to be positive past my limit

i have to laugh,
to be what no one else will be

because i dont understand
i dont know what it means

what does it mean
to experience it for the first time

i'm so used to it,
i'm numb to it

watching souls leave this world,
falling up into the sky

yet i'm stuck here,
watching them fly
