When will they listen? this is no poem but a truth exposed Your voice wasn’t heard The truth didn’t matter The system failed you You were left carrying the consequences alone safety trust acknowledgment the chance for validation the hope that someone in authority would finally say “what happened to you mattered” Your pain makes sense. Your anger makes sense. Your confusion makes sense. Your grief makes sense. You didn’t imagine it. You didn’t “overreact.” You didn’t deserve any of it.
