I wrote a story its kinda long and probably boring but its about mistakes,jealousy, and moving forward. Please add feeback if any

Anna had known Nathan since scraped knees and shared lunches, since secrets whispered on bus rides and laughter that came easily. He was familiar in a way that felt safe like a song she’d grown up hearing and never stopped loving. Somewhere along the years, that safety turned into something deeper for Anna, something she never quite said out loud.Then Kayla arrived.
Kayla was a new laugh, new stories, new brightness. She met Nathan on a random afternoon, the kind that shouldn’t have mattered but did. They talked easily, the way people do when everything still feels light. Anna watched from the edges, a quiet knot forming in her chest. Kayla hadn’t earned the history. She hadn’t lived the years. And yet, Nathan smiled at her.
Jealousy crept in like a shadow Anna didn’t recognize as her own. At first it was small half-truths, careful omissions, a sigh here, a planted doubt there. Anna told herself she was protecting something fragile. But slowly, her words sharpened. Misunderstandings grew. Kayla felt pushed out. Nathan felt confused. And before Anna realized how far she’d gone, the friendship between Kayla and Nathan cracked and finally broke.It worked.
But the silence that followed wasn’t victory. It was heavy. Nathan still came to Anna, still talked to her the way he always had. And that’s when she understood the truth she’d been avoiding: Nathan never looked at her the way she looked at him. To him, Anna was home but not love. Not that way, the realization hollowed her.
Guilt settled in, thick and unavoidable. Kayla hadn’t been the enemy. Anna had let her fear turn into harm. So she did the hardest thing she’d ever done: she told the truth. She admitted what she’d done, why she’d done it, and how sorry she was. She didn’t ask for forgiveness. She didn’t ask for anything at all.
She just tried to fix what she broke.
Slowly, carefully, Kayla and Nathan found their way back to each other not the same as before, but honest. Real. Anna stepped aside, watching from a distance this time, forcing herself not to reach for what was never hers.When it was over, when everyone had healed but her, Anna was left alone with the consequences of her heart.
She moved through her days in quiet despair, carrying the weight of regret and unreturned love. Some nights felt endless, like she was wandering without a map, searching for something warm enough to guide her forward. But even in the darkness, a small part of her kept looking up hoping that somewhere, somehow, light still existed.

And maybe one day, she would find it again.

That's a nice story, I would love to see a second part 2 this. The ending is kinda sad.

I just seen this, it’s very well written and it holds a past one that is so filled with emotion. Ill wait for part two whenever that comes out next year
