for those who needed this, lmk what you think :) some mornings you don’t wake up, you surface. like the night tried to keep you and you had to pry yourself free. your bones are tired of being brave. your chest feels crowded with things you were never taught how to name. and the world? the world is loud, heavy, impatient, asking you to move when all you want is five more minutes of not existing. they say try harder. parents say be grateful. voices meant to protect you become the ones that cut the deepest, until you start wondering if you were ever enough to begin with. but listen. there is still a part of you that swings its legs out of bed even when your heart begs you not to. a part that breathes through the weight, that shows up bruised but breathing, that keeps choosing one more day without calling it courage. that part is quiet. it doesn’t roar. Ii whispers, not today. im still here. resilience doesn’t look like strength. it looks like shaking hands and unfinished thoughts. it looks like crying in the bathroom and then fixing your face anyway. it looks like surviving without applause. so if today all you did was exist, if you carried your pain without dropping it on the floor, if you stayed, even reluctantly that counts. you are not weak for dreading the morning. you are not broken for feeling heavy. you are proof that something inside you refuses to disappear. and maybe that’s enough for now.
