The echo of your whispered vows still lingers, A tender ache beneath the shattered glass, Our love once bloom, now slipping through my fingers, Like autumn leaves that in cold wind surpass. Disappointment stains the faded photograph— Smiles frozen in a time that’s slipped away, Yet in the ruins grows a painful laugh, A memory that haunts both night and day. Though broken chords no longer sing as one, The song of us, though silent, isn’t gone.
