why are you so desperate to find love so young?
we’re kids, still growing, still hurting, still figuring out who we even are. yet we expect people our age to know how to love us right.
you vent about your boyfriend or girlfriend, about the lies, the distance, the disrespect. and it’s not shocking. because how can someone give love when they don’t even understand it?
love isn’t obsession. it isn’t attachment. it isn’t “i don’t wanna be alone.” love is responsibility. care. consistency. and most teenagers are still learning how to treat themselves.
so why are you trying to find love from someone who doesn’t know what to give?
being alone isn’t losing. rushing into half-love is.
