I stand where laughter fades to air, A space that says you’re almost there. Voices scream yet it's so silent, I watch from just outside the light, Darkness holds grip of me tight. Names are called that aren’t my own, Inside a crowd, I’m still alone. Smiles passes by like falling rain, Takin away all my faith & gain, Never meant to ease my pain. But in this quiet, soft and true, I learn the shape of being me too. One day I’ll find a door held wide Not just allowed, but wanted inside, Getting along with all by my side.......
