So we'll combine the logarithms first by using log a + log b = lobg(ab) This will become logâ‚‚(4x) = 5 Now we're going to rewrite it in exponential form: 2^5 = 4x 32 = 4x Then we'll divide by 4 on both sides So your final answer would be x = 8
