gelphielvr:

If a person has an assignment due on November 12th at 23:59 but ends up submitting it on November 13th at 00:06 should that person earn full credit or should late points be deducted?

Sargun:

I think they should earn full credit bc its only one day and maybe a few points should be taken off

SaltySuga:

Yes points should be deducted bc its still past the time and the rules are the rules

tax:

Yeah, late points should be deducted it's past the allotted time that the teacher gave the student and it was his/her responsibility to take the initiative with turning in their work on time and on schedule. Teachers can give grace if you give them a valid reason/excuse to do so

EdwinJsHispanic:

yh because they're still late, even if it was 5 hours late, late is late, there's nothing to it, a day is not that bad but its still turned it pass due.

zanesafoodie:

depends on any extra details like lets say a 504 plan or something but if its just irresponsibility then their should be a few points taken off, when it comes to situations with assignments like these, time management is key

qc2025:

It's a late assignment. You didn't turn it in on time. So it's late.

DUXK:

points can be deducted so yh
