This one's called "disney you lied to me"

my dreams weren't meant to be
despite Disney telling me I could be anything
I was young, sitting in front of that TV,
wishing and hoping that I could be
a beautiful princess, a shingling knight
god forbid my parents were right
they said that's not realistic
honey~

GOD DAMN IT DISNEY
WHY DID U HAVE TO LIE TO ME
YOU SAID I COULD BE ANYTHING
I GUESS THERE GOES MY PRETTY DREAMS
THERE'S NO TOWER WAITING FOR ME
NO MAGIC CARPET TO SET ME FREE
NO SUPPOSEDLY UGLY BEAST,
TO END UP TAKING CARE OF ME
NO ROSES AND NOTHING BUT STRINGS
TIED TO LITERALLY EVERYTHING

no beautiful restaurant for me
no matter how hard I dreamed
NOTHING BUT JAZZ ALL AROUND ME
OH~
SO DISNEY YOU LIED TO ME~
SAID I COULD BE ANYTHING
WELL LOOK WHERE THAT'S GOT ME NOW
NO TRUE LOVE TO BE FOUND
NO TRUE LOVES KISS
BC LETS BE HONEST, IT'S NOTHING BUT BS
lets be honest the villains were better
always knew how to make that front page cover~
of that pretty little magazine
now spread all over the city

you call that advice?
well look where its gotten me in life
my feet are doing everything but touching the ground
I honestly need someone to bring me down
tell me i've been lied to for years
by none other by disney

so yeah Disney lies
and let's be honest it makes you cry
now knowing that all your dreams are fake
but they weren't, they were just taken away
by none other than Disney themselves
made us feel like we all deserved hell
what happened to show and tell?
when we all sat in a circle being read a fairy tale
of dragons, queens, and not to mention those three fairies,
wearing nothing but red, blue, and green
I think her name was sleeping

god forbid it wasn't all a dream
*gasp*
imagine being kissed in your sleep
Great heavens! couldn't be me

that prince loved by all
was looking for someone to take to the ball
oh dear he waited so long
only to find a maiden who had fall
,en into a deep sleep
god that dreaded spinning wheel
idk it made me feel
kind.

TIRED.

that single drop of blood
probably still on that spinning wheel, to this
very.
day.
while they all did nothing but sway to the music
oh my gosh its so confusing? oh wait?
the three fairies aren't human?
while I was asleep
oh that damn prince, of all the things he could've done to me
did he HAVE to kiss me?
not to mention, in my SLEEP.
