A heart is like a block of glass. it's fragile, even more so when it's fully developed into the chest as an adult. You could hurt yourself so many times without a single memory of the encounter of pain or where it came from. But you can just get that one slight feeling of heart break and remember it for a lifetime. Heart break is contagious. It's like covid if it had a healthy cousin than just lingers to cause pain. My personal experience with heart break has caused numbness to my emotional state. If a person leave's i let them...only because it happen's too many time's to care.
