Box 1 : 7^2 x 2^2 = 14^2 (^2 meaning square km, do not plug this into the calculator)

Box 2 : 6^2 x 3^2 = 18^2

Triangle : .5 x 12 x 5 = 30^2

Yea you're confused Tway. You're using the Pythagorean Theorem to find area, which is incorrect. It is used to the missing side of a right triangle, NOT to find area. Especially not on other shapes.
