I'm Doing the ACT testing tomorrow which I feel like I don't even want to try but my friends are making me. Does anyone have a feed back or something they can give me to get ready for the test?

JusJeyk:

Well, taking an ACT test is a good way to see what you know and how intelligent you are. Schools usually provide 2 free vouchers for the SAT, and 2 free vouchers for the ACT. If you don't do well on your ACT you can find some material online, and study up on it. When you feel confident enough you can register to take your ACT again. The ACT focuses on mathematics while the SAT focuses on a combination of subjects. I personally did much better on my SAT compared to my ACT. If you are looking to go to college, you should take both the SAT and the ACT, most colleges will take either score into consideration for your admission.

JusJeyk:

Get some sleep tonight, and take a water bottle with you tomorrow if you're allowed to have one during testing. Fair warning, you will get bored, and you will be forced to sit through it while everyone else finishes if you finish early.

JusJeyk:

My advice is not to overthink! If you can't answer a question, flag it for review and go onto the next. That way you answer as many questions that you know, and then do the ones that you're unsure about. It will improve your score.

JusJeyk:

If retaking it sounds ideal to you, try to remember as much of the test material from the first attempt, that way you know at least some of what you are almost guaranteed to encounter. The test changes every time, but some things remain the same.
