So my Band Director (for the sake of the rest of this we'll call him bd) is leaving our highschool. Now, everyone in the band quite literally loves him, he's the only teacher we trust fully with literally anything, we have all vented to him at least once, and half of the band calls our bd "Dad" or "Father" or smt like that. He is also close to a lot of teachers at the school I go to. So, my question is, would you think that a farewell party for him would be a good idea? You can give ideas if you want or you can just say yes or no for this post.

well if he is loved by a ton of people, I believe that a farewell party is a nice thing to do! : ) A way to show him appreciation for the last time before he leaves. Although, i'm not so sure you will be able to have a big party, something is better than nothing!  This is a great idea. If you do happen to do it, hope you have fun and hope he likes it!!

I wasn't thinking of doing anything huge, just something relatively simple, but also something I know he would enjoy :3
