Im starting therapy soon, and I don't know what to expect. And with how my mother is im worried she will try to intervene when it comes to my therapist's suggestion of putting me on medication because she said: "I don't want you to be a drugged up zombie." When i might need to be put on medication to get better

bc of her experience and others' experience, she has heard about so she thinks its like that for everyone

Tell your therapist about her, based on what age you are though you can get the meds even if she says no

then (depending on where you are, most places though) you are still allowed to have the medication as long as it isn't a controlled medicine
